Lighthouse – it keeps getting better!

Last Friday (23/9) we arranged the second Lighthouse youth meeting. The church was filled with youth and the presence of God was strong. It was a wonderfull night!

YOUTHALPHA @ FristadenFalun

Tonight marks the start of the 3rd season of youthalpha hosted by Fristaden Falun. So far we have had a number of teens and young adults take the alpha course-Youthalpha. A course that is specially designed to meet the tough and genuine questions posed by the teens and young adults of our time and day. It is an introductory course in the christian faith and is designed to equip the particpant to gain knowledge as well as understanding regarding the christian faith.

We meet every wednessday at the church at 7 pm and start the evening with a meal together and then we move on to a short presentation of the chosen topic. After the presentation, we use the rest of the time  in small groups  where the participants ask questions and share answers and experiences.

The whole evening is designed to cater to the need of the individual and as well as to build relationships.

TIMOTHY- Leading leaders discover God’s agenda

Last night 31/8-2011 marked the beginning of ”TIMOTHY” a school specially designed to train and grow young leaders here at Fristaden. We had young leaders gather both in campus and also online through skype taking part in a powerful, fun-filled, interactive two hour training session.

We realise that the philosophy and ideology of the classroom in this generation will eventually be the philosophy and ideology of the nation in the next. It is our desire to share and impart kingdom values into these young leaders. It is our goal to inform and transform next generation leaders.

TIMOTHY is not just any  other leadership training course, but a specially designed, discipleship program helping young leaders discover God’s agenda, applying kingdom values to their everyday sphere by being an example wherever they are today and to be the leader they were created to be.

LightHouse! Amazing start

WOW!! What an evening it was at Fristaden Falun, when “Lighthouse” was launched last friday. Teens and youth from Falun, Leksand, Rättvik, Insjön, Enviken, Gävle and Dala-Järna gathered together in celebrating the risen Jesus Christ

The evening marked a beginning of something that is much greater and something much longed for. The desire and hunger seen among the youth conecting together for  a higher purpose and cause was clearly evident.

FLOW@LIGHTHOUSE

Lighthouse is nearing and the intensity and the excitement rising. The youthnight at Fristaden Falun “Lighthouse” is bringing together teens and youth that are ready to carry the flow of the Love of God to their generation. Together as the body of Christ in Falun we are expecting great things to be done in our city!
